Joe Henderson is a well known saxophonist for jazz lovers but his name is unfortunately not as famous as John Coltrane, Miles Davis or Dave Brubeck for a more general audience. Therefore it is a great pleasure to announce the reissue of Barcelona. Recorded with Wayne Darling (bass) and Ed Soph (drums) live at Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas on June 2, 1977 and at Trixi Studio, Munich, Germany on November 15, 1978; the cd includes liner notes by Horst Weber. Take this opportunity to (re)discover other great albums by this Giant Musician like Our Thing or Inner Urge.
